PROJECTS

Community

Volunteering is another way to invest in your community and make it a stronger, healthier place to live. If you’d like to create meaningful change in your area, you’ve come to the right place. Volunteers are literally, the heart of McKinney First PAC, providing a special kind of caring and compassion for our community and their families. Every day, our volunteers make a difference in the lives of so many people. If you would like to volunteer with MFPAC, please sign up here.

1

Education

In the midst of a global pandemic that has left our teachers stretched thin, our schools in limbo, and our parents struggling to balance unprecedented circumstances, Our local school districts have spent precious time and resources setting up district's diversity police instead of focusing on classroom curriculum. As a community, we should have the opportunity to provide input on these costly and invasive new policies.

2

Homelessness

The number of persons experiencing homelessness identified in Collin County during the Annual Point-in-Time Homeless Census on January 25, 2018 was 427; 100 unsheltered and 327 temporarily sheltered persons. The Annual Homeless Census Report details the lives of those experiencing homelessness on this one night. MFPAC has the desire to work together to provide solutions to homelessness in McKinney, Texas.

Fellowship

Why fellowship with like-minded individuals? Because we benefit abundantly in body, soul, and spirit! Fellowshipping with like-minded individuals helps us build the knowledge of God in our lives and live His Word, and it helps us build a heartfelt respect for one another. Come hang out with us at our next event

5

Activism

Social activists work to promote, guide, or impede changes in government or business policies and influence the actions of individuals and groups. They build connections among groups and communities and disseminate information on specific issues to create awareness and influence social change.

Future

The general public seems to agree that future generations should be taken into account in political decision-making processes: More and more people are understanding that their children’s or their grandchildren’s lives are under threat because of our decisions and lack of action on local politics.
